You have to go through the checkout to download the pattern. It doesn’t cost anything, but you still have to go through the process.

seems straight forward enough. I’m going to make a bunch for my local clinic due to shortage of the disposables during this pandemic.
Jan Neil –
That was a good tutorial. I’ll be making my daughter and perhaps her co-workers a cap. I appreciate you sharing and empowering!
Robin (verified owner) –
Thank you, our local clinic is asking for these!
Susan Hey (verified owner) –
The idea is fabulous however the finished product is way too small.
Debby Hunker (verified owner) –
Are you sure you printed at 100%? I’ve never had that comment before. You can also chose to print larger than 100% if you need a larger cap.
Susan Hey (verified owner) –
The error was mine. I apologize for not reading the directions correctly. I have had 9 surgical nurses ask for these caps.

Thank you So MUCH, I have been making masks for our local hospital and friends in need and now they need caps and I needed a pattern.
Ramona Owens (verified owner) –
The cap was very easy and was great except too small. How do I print again so I can enlarge
Debby Hunker (verified owner) –
You may need to open it with Adobe Acrobat and make sure scaling is 100%

If I added the sf101 would it still be washable in hot water to sterilize it?
Debby Hunker (verified owner) –
Yes. No problem

A friend of mine daughter works in the ICU unit with coronavirus patients, and they can’t get enough supplies. As I’m making masks, she asked if I could make her a cap, so looked for a pattern. Yours looks like a good one. Thank you.

Thank you for this free pattern. My daughter is a RN at a large hospital here in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was moved from her “regular” job in the ER to the new “covid19 unit”. I was just talking to her about keeping her very long hair tied up in more than her normal ponytail. This will give me one less thing to worry about when she is working.

Very simple to make. Really appreciate you sharing this as a free item. Our church ladies are making these for a local hospital. Thanks again.

Loved this pattern. Because of the elastic shortage I made some alterations. I hemmed the back flat area up where the elastic would have gone and then made ties (aprox 25 in x 1.5 in) and inserted into the seams on either side. Also due to the lack of elastic and to ensure it fit a variety of heads/hair, I also made the back a smidge wider. Any slack can easily be taken up by the ties. This was an excellent pattern to give a base and build off of to suit my needs.
