This is The Gratitude Wallet. The name was inspired by my feeling of being so grateful for all of the support I get in my bag making journey.
**This pattern was designed to be made with leather or cork because of some raw edges that can easily be covered with a little bit of edge coat**
I’ve done my best to incorporate the simplest methods and techniques to ensure the best possible outcome for all levels of ability. I want the reaction when you show your wallet to someone to be “You MADE that?”
Finished dimensions are 7.5” wide x 5” tall
Yardage:
16” x 10” piece of leather or cork
11” x 7-1/4” piece of heavy stabilizer (Peltex or Decovil)
1/2 yd quilt weight cotton
1 yd light woven interfacing (assuming 20” wide)
6” – #3 zipper (a longer zipper can be used and cut down to size)
7-1/2” bar clasp
Polyester thread to match lining fabric (cotton)
